Our client, a leading company in the defence and security sector, is seeking an IT Project/Delivery Manager to join their manufacturing team in Glenrothes, Fife on a fixed-term basis. This role is part of a hybrid position within the company, providing an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in critical transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the full lifecycle of organisational transformation initiatives
  • Managing projects on time, within scope, and aligned to expected benefits
  • Collaborating across functions to drive change and manage risks
  • Ensuring effective execution of initiatives such as process redesign, system implementation, and operating model changes
  • Adhering to the Raytheon Enterprise Project Management (REPM) framework
  • Developing detailed project plans and leading cross-functional teams
  • Ensuring strong governance, clear reporting, and adherence to organisational standards
  • Providing clear, insightful updates to senior stakeholders and governance boards

Job Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Transformation Delivery Manager or Project Manager
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Experience delivering process, systems, or operating model changes
  • Availability to work in a contract/interim capacity with a delivery-focused mindset
  • Eligible for SC clearance

Desirable Experience:

  • Formal project management certification or training
  • Experience in transformation within large, regulated, or complex organisations
  • Exposure to system implementations (e.g., ERP, planning tools, data platforms)
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or technology environments
