Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Programme Planner to play a key role in delivering complex programmes through a modern, data-driven planning function. This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality, insight-led schedules, enabling enhanced visibility, forecasting, and informed decision-making across the programme lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage integrated, logic-driven programmes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment to delivery objectives.
  • Lead critical path analysis, scenario modelling, and schedule optimisation to support proactive programme delivery.
  • Generate data-driven planning insights, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the development of robust baselines and maintain change-controlled programme plans.
  • Embed planning best practices, driving consistency and continuous improvement across scheduling processes.
  • Provide schedule assurance, ensuring plans are realistic, compliant, and aligned to governance expectations.
  • Collaborate with project controls, delivery, and commercial teams to enhance overall programme performance and visibility.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in planning across complex, large-scale programmes.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 expertise, with a strong focus on data quality and schedule integrity.
  • Proven experience in critical path analysis, schedule assurance, and performance reporting.
  • Experience working in regulated or highly governed environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex schedule data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be SC cleared or eligible for clearance and be Sole UK Nationals.
  • Hybrid working with a requirement of 3 days onsite in Glasgow.
