We are seeking an experienced Technology Programme Manager to oversee a small portfolio of 4-5 diverse back-office projects within our Support Office / Group Applications function. This role combines programme leadership, hands-on delivery support, and people management, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Leadership - Own and manage a portfolio of unrelated technology projects, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Hands-on Delivery Support - Work closely with project managers, stepping into the detail and providing practical support where needed.
  • Project Manager Cover - Lead and run individual projects during periods of PM absence.
  • Line Management - Manage a small team of permanent staff and contractors (3-4 people), providing coaching, direction, and performance oversight.
  • Stakeholder Management - Build strong relationships across the organisation, influencing and communicating effectively at all levels.
  • Technical Oversight - Bring a technically minded approach to understanding systems, workflows, and infrastructure-related project requirements.

Desirable Experience

  • ServiceNow, Halo or similar workflow / ITSM platforms.
  • Property or Lease Management Systems.
  • Building & Infrastructure Fit-Out Projects - particularly from a technology installation or back-office systems perspective.

Contract Details

  • Initial 6-month contract
  • Hybrid working - primarily home-based, with occasional travel to Whiteley and/or Nottingham (typically 1-2 times per month).

  • Confident working in the detail while maintaining programme-level oversight.
