Our client, within the UK Health sector, is currently seeking an Enterprise Technology Architect to join their Technology & Information Architectures team on a contract basis. This role focuses on improving health services and outcomes through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding software systems and processes in place across at least one Integrated Care Board (ICB) for appointment management across care settings
  • Analysing integration patterns and interfaces of different appointment management systems within at least one ICB
  • Performing gap analysis between existing services/platforms for appointment management and NHS App interfaces
  • Defining necessary interfaces for onboarding in line with Referrals and Appointments or proposing the most appropriate patterns for reuse
  • Onboarding system suppliers and developers for appointment management
  • Supporting an improved onboarding process for system suppliers and developers for appointment management
  • Collaborating within the project to achieve desired outcomes

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in IT architecture, specifically within the healthcare sector
  • Strong understanding of software systems and processes related to appointment management
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and interfaces in healthcare settings
  • Ability to perform detailed gap analysis and propose effective solutions
  • Experience with the NHS App and related interfaces
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
