We are seeking a Senior Telco / Network Orchestration Engineer to support the design, deployment, integration and operation of next-generation telecommunications platforms.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in 4G/5G networks, network automation, orchestration, virtualisation and cloud-native telecoms environments. You will play a key role in delivering carrier-grade network infrastructure, supporting the lifecycle management of virtualised and cloud-native network functions, and driving automation across complex telecoms platforms.
Working closely with architecture, operations and engineering teams, you will help build scalable, resilient and automated network solutions across modern Telco Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy and support network orchestration and automation platforms.
Manage the onboarding, lifecycle management and operation of VNFs and CNFs.
Support 4G and 5G network platforms across virtualised and cloud-native environments.
Deploy, administer and optimise Kubernetes, OpenStack and VMware-based telecoms infrastructure.
Develop and maintain automation workflows using Python, YAML and CI/CD tooling.
Support integration activities across network functions, orchestration platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex network and platform issues, performing root-cause analysis and driving resolution.
Contribute to platform improvements, automation initiatives and operational best practice.
Collaborate with architects, vendors and technical stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Support testing, validation and operational readiness of new services and network capabilities.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience within telecommunications network environments.
Experience supporting or deploying 4G and/or 5G mobile network infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV) and cloud-native telecoms architectures.
Hands-on experience with network orchestration platforms, including ETSI MANO / Open Source MANO (OSM).
Experience managing Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) and Cloud Native Network Functions (CNFs).
Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
