FBC Manby Bowdler are looking to expand our Court of Protection & Deputyship Team with the appointment of a Solicitor or Associate (2–4 years’ PQE), based in our Wolverhampton office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded and supportive team, working closely alongside our lead Partner. You will play a key role in managing a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, supporting clients with sensitivity, professionalism, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a caseload of Court of Protection matters, including Deputyship Applications and ongoing Deputyship administration
- LPA administration
- Management and setting up of Personal Injury Trusts
- Supporting vulnerable clients and their families with empathy and clarity
- Working collaboratively with the lead Partner and wider Court of Protection team
- Maintaining the high standards of client care for which the firm is known
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2–4 years’ PQE
- Experience in Court of Protection work (or strong Court of Protection / Private Client background with a desire to specialise)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A compassionate and client-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
