Private Client Associate

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Private Client Associate Solicitor to join our growing Birmingham office.
This is a rare opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded Private Client Partner and play a key role in building and developing our Private Wealth offering in Birmingham. Whilst our Birmingham office is already home to a highly successful Trusts team, we are continuing to invest in the growth of our wider Private Client practice, creating an exceptional opportunity for the right individual to become part of something genuinely exciting from the outset.
Based in our prime city centre location, you will work closely with the Partner, supporting the management of a varied and high-quality caseload whilst helping to develop and grow the practice. This is far more than a traditional fee-earning role. It offers the chance to help build a successful team, work with exceptional clients, and accelerate your career within one of the region's leading law firms.
The Role
You will assist on a broad range of Private Client matters including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance Tax planning
- Trust creation and administration
- Succession and wealth preservation planning
- Lifetime gifting and asset protectionAdvising business owners, high-net-worth individuals and families
- Supporting business development and client relationship management
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Ideally has a minimum of 2 years' Private Client experience
- Technically strong across a broad range of Private Client matters
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Ambitious, driven and motivated to succeed
- Keen to develop their profile and contribute to the growth of a successful practice
- Familiar with the Birmingham and wider West Midlands market
- A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
