Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Commis Chef with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Head Chef and support our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the preparation of food for all service areas per the standards indicated by the Head Chef.
  • Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities.
  • Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences.
  • Assist the Head Chef in the promotion and management of the criteria for the AA Rosette Standards throughout all required areas.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • An ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
  • The ability to communicate and organize yourself in line with different guest expectations.
  • A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous.
