An established and growing organisation is looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead and support a software engineering team. This is a practical leadership role - not a purely managerial position. You'll be responsible for improving delivery, introducing structure, mentoring developers, and remaining technically involved where required. You'll work closely with senior leadership, taking ownership of day-to-day coordination, planning, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate a small team of software developers
  • Manage priorities, workload planning, and delivery schedules

  • Run stand-ups, sprint planning, and delivery reviews where appropriate
