Our client is a fast-growing cyber security integrator, trusted by organisations across the UK to secure and connect their digital infrastructure. As they scale their Security Operations business, they're looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to join a growing pre-sales function at the centre of that growth. This is a genuine opportunity to shape how a leading security operations practice takes its services to market — working across SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, exposure management and email security, with an initial focus on Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.

The Role

Reporting to the SecOps Solutions Architect, you'll act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal sales teams — combining technical credibility, commercial awareness and strong communication to help customers solve real security challenges.

  • Lead discovery sessions and design technically credible, commercially viable security solutions
  • Deliver demonstrations, workshops and presentations across the security portfolio
  • Represent and articulate the value of a market-leading Managed SOC, Managed VOC and Threat Intelligence service
  • Support the full sales cycle — qualification, solution design, proposals, RFIs and RFPs
  • Build sales enablement content and provide guidance to internal sales teams
  • Progressively take ownership of customer opportunities end-to-end, starting with Microsoft Security

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role — pre-sales, consultancy, professional services, security operations or architecture
  • Strong understanding of SOC operations, detection and response
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
  • Familiarity with at least two of: SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, exposure management or email security
  • Confident presenter, comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong written skills for proposals and technical documentation
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable:

  • Hands-on experience with Sentinel and Defender
  • Experience delivering technical demonstrations
  • Knowledge of SOAR, automation or AI-assisted security operations
  • Microsoft or other relevant security certifications
  • Experience positioning managed security services
  • Exposure to vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Rapid7, Tenable or Google Threat Intelligence

No certifications are required on entry — full support is provided to work towards SC-200, AZ-500 and SC-100.

The Package

  • £75,000 base salary
  • £5,000 car allowance
  • £10,000 OTE commission scheme
  • Funded certifications, study time and lab access
  • Remote first/Hybrid (Outside London+ customer sites)
  • Genuine progression into a senior solutioning or architecture-track role

If you're ready to combine technical depth with commercial impact in one of the fastest-growing areas of the security market, we'd love to hear from you.
