This is an excellent opportunity for a Document Controller with a strong M&E, MEP or Building Services background to join a major project.
The RoleAs Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation across a busy major project environment, working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
The role is fully site-based, 5 days per week, at the project's Holborn site.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day document control function for the project.
Maintain accurate document registers and ensure all documentation is correctly recorded and controlled.
Manage the upload, distribution and tracking of drawings and technical documentation.
Monitor document revisions, approvals and status.
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
Ensure project information is issued and distributed to the relevant parties.
Maintain accurate electronic filing and document management systems. Support project teams with document queries and information requests.
Assist with project close-out and the compilation of relevant documentation.
About YouThe successful candidate will have: Previous experience as a Document Controller within M&E, MEP or Building Services. Experience working within a construction or major projects environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The ability to manage a high volume of technical documentation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
Experience working in a site-based environment. Systems ExperienceExperience with Viewpoint / 4Projects is highly desirable.
The wider project team also uses Asite and Aconex, so experience with either of these systems would be advantageous.
