A leading house builder has a requirement for two Technical Coordinators to join their West Yorkshire team. The ideal candidate would have a few years of experience in similar roles with a passion to progress into a senior role.
As a Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising all technical information for both external and internal departments for each consultant through the entire design and construction process.
Key Duties- Follow the company's Life of Site policy
- Look after all drawing details to ensure their accuracy and they commercially line up with the design and construction phase stages
- Organise and run chair design meetings with both internal and external parties
- Organise and run the full planning process and review all planning for approval which will ensure the correct conditions and procedures are met before work is started on site
- Agree construction specifications, SAP and beam strategy for the project
- Organise and plan all correct Building Control applications and supporting documents
- Lease with both the Buying and Commercial teams to approve all subcontractor design plans
- Plan accurate and proficient design information that is in line with the client's specifications
- Ensure cost effective design control and build ability
- Look after and run all drawings, documents and information for all new build contracts from the Viewpoint Platform
- Overlook all contract documents, warrant and bond requirements in liaison with Contracts Manager
- Apply for approval from the Engineering Design and ground remediation for secure statutory
- Often visit sites and attend meetings with the intent to solve any ongoing issues that may be during the construction process
- Previous experience in Architecture/Civil Engineering
- Prior experience working in the Residential Housing sector
- Excellent in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control regulatory approvals which include section 38 & 104 designs
- In date full UK driving license
- Experience in project management and supervision
- Must have an impeccable attention to detail
- Have the ability to voice your own opinion and challenge others if needed
- Excellent communication with all levels of individuals
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills in all programs
- Salary of up to £50K plus annual bonus
