Sub Agent β Leading Civils Contractor β Sussex or Kent
My client is a Leading Civil Engineering Company.
They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Sub Agent to work on projects in the southeastern region.
The company specialise in the following sectors;
- Highways & Structures
- Infrastructure & Public Realm
- Ports, Rivers & Marne
- MOD & Defence
- Aviation
- Water & Wastewater
Initially, the successful individual will be assisting the existing site team who are in the process of delivering a large development infrastructure project.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects.
My client is open minded and would consider individuals with circa 4-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Section / Senior Engineer or someone already in the role.
Sub Agent duties include assisting the Site Agent with the successful and timely delivery of the projects:
- Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
- Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes
- Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
- Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
- Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
- Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
- Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
- Managing RFI\βs and Technical Queries
