- We are currently looking for an experienced
- Site Manager to oversee a new housebuilding development in
- Stafford for an established
PLC housebuilder .
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential new build and, preferably, previous experience working directly for or alongside a
PLC housebuilder . Experience across both
Housing Association and Open Market housing would be highly advantageous.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include
- Managing the day-to-day operations on site.
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
- Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality and specification.
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety across the development.
- Monitoring programme and progress against build targets.
- Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics.
- Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
- Ensuring homes are delivered to the required standards and timescales.
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate site records and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.

We are looking for a Site Manager with proven experience in residential housebuilding , ideally with previous experience working for a
PLC builder .
You should have experience with
- Open Market and Housing Association schemes.
- Timber frame and traditional construction methods.
- Managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
- Working to build programmes and deadlines.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
- Recent, checkable references.
- Strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
- Ability to manage and coordinate a busy residential development.
