Are you an experienced Technical Designer who is looking to join a business where you can play a pivotal role in bringing together concept scheme and scope and taking this to site and beyond? This workplace design and build expert are looking to bring in a Technical Designer to assist in delivering Cat A, Cat B and Cat+ schemes.
This industry leading workplace fit out contractor are seeking a Technical Designer to translate design concepts into production technical packages. This will require a professional who can collaborate seamlessly with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to help solve problems with precision and ensure quality standards are met from concept through to completion.
Responsibilities of Senior Technical Designer:- Understanding the client brief from the documentation saved by Concept and Commercial Management.
- Carry out full building surveys relating to the project demise both measured and photographic prior to commencing a detailed construction pack of drawings.
- Collaborating with all stakeholders and our internal project teams to ensure design remains within budget and is technically competent to the client need/brief.
- Liaison with Building Control and Planning as necessary, and the creation of drawings and documentation ready for submission.
- To ensure Drawing & Document Standards are in place and are being maintained, practised and utilised uniformly.
- Technical Designer will assist and guide the concept team to ensure projects are compliant and designed with a clear eye on both efficiency and cost effectiveness relative to our clients briefs.
- Should it be required, assistance will also be provided to both create and curate technical drawings for Pitches and Submissions.
- Creation of all drawings and supporting documentation to clearly explain the scheme to client and contractors alike.
- The construction pack should be coordinated along with specialist Contractors drawings.
- Within this role you will be taking the lead in ensuring the building has been accurately surveyed and we are Designing in compliance with current Statutory bodies as required, (Building Control, Fire, Environmental Health and Planning).
