Live role for an enthusiastic, motivated Assistant Site Manager who is looking to develop with a business. Due to continued growth, an Assistant Site Manager is needed to support site teams and help drive projects forward safely, on time and to a high standard.
About the Assistant Site Manager role
- You will work closely with the site manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
- Support Health & Safety compliance and site inductions.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
- Monitor quality, progress and workmanship.
- Assist with site documentation, reports and inspections.
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements needed for the Assistant Site Manager role
- Previous experience in construction with a main contractor - background in residential developments ideal.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm and drive to progress and develop with the business.
- Proactive, reliable and keen to learn.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid.
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering desirable.
