Great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the new fit out division of an industry leading contractor. They have an ambitious 5-year plan to reach Β£250 million in turnover and rival some of the biggest fit-out contractors in the country. They only want to bring people in who are committed to the long-term development of the business and can bring the expertise of someone who is within the top 5% of the fit out industry.
Responsibilities:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Managing Packages.
- Managing Sub-Contractor and client relations.
- Site Meetings.
Current and Upcoming Projects:
- 2 x Live Projects:
- Moodys Β£22 million
- Millbank Β£9 million
- Tendering:
- LEGO Β£40 million β 2 stage tender β start on site August
- HSBC Canary Wharf β start on site April
- LLC Β£180 million (Β£70 - Β£80 million FO) β Will be in pre-con for 1 year
- F1 HQ Β£40 million β start on site early next year
Requirements and Information:
- Minimum 4 years' experience with fit-out contractors or working on large fit-out schemes for a main contractor.
- Technical knowledge of pre-construction and understanding of contract law.
- Degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
