We're looking for an experienced Project Director to join our London team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a portfolio of high-value construction and refurbishment projects, providing strategic direction while ensuring exceptional project delivery with a market leading, tier 1 Principal contractor.
As the senior leader across your portfolio, you'll oversee every stage of the project lifecycle—from developing new business opportunities and building strong client relationships to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, you'll play a key role in driving innovation, collaboration, and commercial success across complex construction projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee the successful delivery of a portfolio of Cat B fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Develop and implement business plans that support long-term growth and project success.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering outstanding service.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, programmes, and KPIs to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and high performance.
- Identify and manage project risks while ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Support business development by identifying and securing new opportunities.
About You
- Extensive project management experience, ideally within a Tier 1 construction environment.
- A strong track record of delivering complex construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects or a portfolio with full commercial and operational responsibility.
- A relevant degree or equivalent industry qualification.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with experience working alongside public sector organisations and regulatory bodies.
