Site Manager – New Build Housing (Timber Frame)
Location: Manchester
Qualifications: CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid
Position: Freelance
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new build housing project using timber frame methods. The Site Manager will take full responsibility for on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, to the highest quality and on budget. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage the build programme, and act as a main point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage all on site activities from enabling works through until completion
-Oversee timber frame installation in line with manufacturer details, structural drawings, and NHBC/building control requirements.
-Carry out site inductions, regular safety inspections
-Manage material call offs, deliveries and protection of timber frame components
-Promote excellent customer care and resident liaison where required
Experience Required:
-Proven experience as a Site Manager on a new build housing project using timber frame
-Strong understanding of timber frame
-Knowledge of NHBC/LABC standards and UK building regulations
-Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
