Overview
In this Project Manager role, you lead site teams to deliver social housing refurbishment projects within a 20-mile radius of Barnsley. You’ll drive smooth operation through effective coordination of site managers, tenants, and subcontractors, while reporting progress to the senior team. The position combines hands‑on surveying and leadership with opportunities for progression in a recognised employer. You’ll work on decarbonisation and essential refurbishment across housing schemes, making a measurable impact.
Pay / Benefits
- Salary up to 63k per year
- Annual bonus up to 10% of salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Site Managers, Tenant Liaison Officers and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly
- Travel between sites and communicate progress to the senior team
- Survey activities within a 20-mile radius of Barnsley
- Coordinate works on social housing schemes (kitchens & bathrooms, EWI, windows & doors, repairs & maintenance, roofing)
- Report project progress and manage on-site operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and client requirements

- Social housing refurbishment, decent homes, retrofit, decarbonisation, responsive repairs, maintenance experience
