Are you an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor thinking about a fresh new start working for a leading Tier 1? I am currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join my clients growing team based in Sheffield with Hybrid working available. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within a specialist team, supporting them in various projects and areas. You will be involved with projects including new build, refurbishments and fit-outs across an array of sectors. Project values typically range from £10m - £50m.

Duties of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

  • Regular financial reporting; processing and administration of applications for payment upstream and downstream and managing relationships with the Client and the appointed professional team.
  • Collaborative working with all external and internal stakeholders will be crucial, including mentoring/managing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the growth of the hub.
  • Working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving the refurbishment of buildings across the Blue Light, Health, Education, Retail and commercial sectors, with a focus on works that are safety critical and involve significant fire and general safety risk.

Requirements for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

  • Demonstrate general construction knowledge.
  • Have experience of delivering projects under NEC and JCT Forms of Contract.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
