We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Bristol. The business has been established in the region for almost 5 years and since that point have grown a strong presence, undertaking projects across a range of sectors including education, commercial, social housing and healthcare valuing up to £15mil. As the business unit continues to grow, they are looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor.
About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing your own projects from PCSA through to final accounts. You will be responsible for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and will report into the Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Managing projects through 2nd stage tender alongside pre-con team
- Managing sub-contract packages
- Client valuations
- Dealing with sub-contractor / client variations
- Final accounts
Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:
- Have obtained a HNC / Construction related degree
- Have experience managing projects valuing up to £10mil
- Have strong working knowledge of JCT / NEC forms of contract
- Live within commutable distance to Bristol and be happy to commute to site as required.
