We are working with one of London’s leading fit-out and refurbishment contractors, renowned for delivering exceptional CAT A & CAT B Commercial Fit-Out projects across Zone 1 Central London. This particular division of the business achieved a turnover of £250M last year, contributing to a combined group turnover of £900M, with the majority of work secured through repeat business from several key clients.

Due to continued organic growth and a strong secured pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to act as the No.1 on projects valued up to circa £10M. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor recognised for delivering high-quality landmark projects across London. The role would suit someone who enjoys working within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, where individuals are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas, and make a genuine impact across project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
  • Managing programme, budget, quality, and commercial performance across projects
  • Leading project teams, including Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinating logistics and construction activities within challenging live and occupied environments
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks and programme challenges
  • Chairing project meetings and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders
  • Monitoring progress and reporting on programme, financials, and key project milestones
  • Driving quality assurance and ensuring client expectations are consistently exceeded
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering Commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects
  • Track record of successfully delivering projects up to £10M
  • Strong understanding of programme management, construction sequencing, and project delivery
  • Commercial awareness and experience in managing project budgets
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and construction compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractor packages effectively
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
