b Overview /b p In this role you will lead health, safety and wellbeing efforts on a major infrastructure project in North West London. You’ll partner with project leadership, site teams and subcontractors to uphold high safety standards and drive continuous improvement. You’ll steer safety campaigns, audits, and incident investigations to reduce risk and foster a proactive safety culture. This is a high-impact position on a high-profile scheme with opportunities to mentor others and shape site practices. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salary /li li benefits package /li li long-term career prospects /li li collaborative environment focused on safety /li li growth within a major project /li li opportunity to influence safety culture /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Promote and lead best practices in health, safety and sustainability across the project /li li Support directors, managers and supervisors in fulfilling their H S responsibilities /li li Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams /li li Lead safety improvement initiatives, development programmes and project-specific campaigns /li li Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace assessments; identify opportunities for improvement /li li Investigate incidents and accidents; determine root causes and implement corrective actions /li li Review safety performance data and develop improvement strategies from trends /li li Support the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements and H S documentation /li li Deliver presentations, reports and safety briefings to project stakeholders /li li Mentor and support junior Health Safety Advisors /li li Empower teams to challenge unsafe practices and stop works where safety is compromised /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li NEBOSH qualification or equivalent /li li Membership of a recognised professional body such as IOSH, IEMA or similar /li li Proven experience in a Senior Health Safety role within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or tunnelling environments /li li Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and management systems /li li Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations /li li Commercial awareness and understanding of major project environments /li li Proficient with Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and Project /li /ul ul li Stakeholder management /li li Leadership and mentoring /li li Strong communication and presentation /li li Risk assessments /li li Method statements /li li H S documentation /li /ul
