Overview of a Senior Site Manager (No.2) opportunity on an office refurbishment which consists of structural alterations. Project worth circa £20m. When you come into the project you will need to be able to manage the internal demolition and restructure, so experience is needed in this field. Once remodelled, we will need you to deliver a 4-floor office fit out (Cat A). Being a number 2 to a Senior Project Manager, you will be out on site managing process, upholding health and safety and be able to think forward in regard to preventing problems.
Responsibilities:
- Attending and contributing in contractor pre-start meetings.
- Attending and contributing in design team meetings.
- Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
- Attending safe starts.
- Approving RAMS.
- Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades.
- If necessary, taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members.
- Enforcing H&S on site.
- Identifying potential problems, but offering buildability solutions.
- Someone who is tech savvy.
- Someone who can engage with the supply chain and other team members.
Salary: We are paying between £320-360 per day for the right candidate.
