Opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to work for a leading Main Contractor based in central London. This is an exciting new role to work on a recently secured major project between £100 - £300 Million.

About the role:

  • Commercially responsible for all matters on a £100 Million + project.
  • Managing Customer and Consultant Relationships.
  • Lead Commercial strategy including procurement, tendering, negotiation and subcontract documentation.
  • Lead the Commercial team.
  • Manage all reports and forecasting.
  • Responsible for all strategic decisions.
  • Work in conjunction with the design team on budgets.
  • Minimise Commercial risk.
  • Leading Tender Presentations, interviews, and negotiations with clients.
  • Develop and deliver the PCSA agreement, through to delivery and final accounts.
  • Manage an existing team of Quantity Surveyors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience on £150 Million plus projects within the London market.
  • Manage both internal and external Stakeholders.
  • Experience working on large and complex claims.
  • Strong knowledge of contract and Commercial Law with ability to deliver projects.
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline.
  • Experience of JCT Form of contract.
  • Team leadership, planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.

This role will be site-based in the City of London working as Commercial Manager leading a £100 -£300 million Commercial scheme. With this scheme being due to be live on site, the project will run through with completion within the next 2 years. For this role, you will report into a Commercial Director and manage a team of Surveyors. As Commercial Manager, you will undertake full duties including all reporting, variations and CVRs and presenting this to the Commercial Director.
