Site Engineer - Major Civils Project - Plymouth
My client is a long established, leading Civil Engineering Contractor.
They are presently delivering a major improvement works to a major Ministry of Defence Project in Plymouth, Devon.
The Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out, as-builts and quality assurance.
My client has at least 3+ years of work on this project and with the possibility of continuous work in the area for the right individual.
These are permanent positions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Setting out structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
- Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
- Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
- Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
- Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
- Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
- Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
Requirements:
- Required: Degree level or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline, plus relevant CSCS card
- Required: Minimum 3 years' experience at Site Engineer level or above, ideally with at least some civils project experience.
