We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a cash-rich business on an exciting live scheme in Portsmouth. The business undertakes projects across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, care homes and leisure valuing up to £30mil. They operate predominantly within the south of England, and have offices in Hampshire and Dorset.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working alongside a another experienced Senior Surveyor, managing various sub-contract packages and dealing with any variations that arise. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a HNC / construction related degree
• Have administered JCT forms of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Portsmouth.
