We are recruiting for experienced Project Managers to join a growing wastewater infrastructure programme across the South East (Kent, Sussex, Hampshire). This is a fantastic opportunity to work on essential environmental projects while developing your career within a supportive and collaborative team.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of projects from initial scoping and pricing through to successful on-site delivery. You'll manage a portfolio of schemes valued up to approximately £5m, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Projects will include the design and installation of wastewater infrastructure such as gravity and rising main pipelines, pumping stations, and tanks - all contributing to environmental protection and improved public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end, from pre-construction through to completion
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and commercial performance
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards (SHEQ)
- Produce detailed project reports and updates
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders

Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management (water/wastewater experience desirable)
- Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices (CDM awareness essential)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and resolving challenges effectively
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications
- Essential: Relevant experience in construction project management, CSCS card, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety certification
- Desirable: Wastewater or utilities network experience, Degree / HNC / NVQ Level 6 in Engineering or Construction Management, NEBOSH Construction Certificate
