My client is a well-established Construction and Civil engineering company with a presence in the UK industry for over 40 years. They are looking to take on a Site Manager/ Project Manager on a permanent basis, due to steady growth within their busy Southern region. This role will be based in Bournemouth, with my client able to keep you working along the South coast for many years to come, with their operational region being about 40 miles from Poole. This is a mobile role, where you will be looking after several sites, within the Bournemouth area.

They are looking for someone with a strong civils background, ideally with RC frame experience also but this is not essential. The types of projects my client gets involved in are:

  • Groundworks
  • Piling
  • Drainage
  • Remediation and enabling works
  • Earthworks
  • Highways
  • RC Structures
  • And much more

Duties:

  • Site delivery team, inclusive of - Site Manager, Foreman, Gangers, Machine operators and operatives
  • Efficiently and safely manage project(s) contributing to increasing the number of projects profitably delivered.
  • Ensuring safe and effective delivery whilst managing the expectations and relationship of the client and ensuring that projects deliver against all defined objectives.
  • Work in collaboration with various departments/areas of the supply chain and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered to the highest possible standard with regard to quality, time, safety and value.
  • Ensure projects are completed under price, to prescribed timescales and required quality whilst effectively managing safety, environment and where appropriate heritage issues.
