Rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading construction company in London. This contractor operates across the commercial, leisure & retail, heritage and private residential sector. These projects often involve elements of cut & carve, refurbishment and high-end fit out, ranging in value up to £100 million.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- The right candidate will have a diverse background and overseen projects from conception to handover.
- Familiar and comfortable with two stage tenders, preconstruction and design.
- Be a strong project lead on projects up to £100 million, overseeing the whole build process from heavy structural works through to fit out.
- Manage a site team and subcontractors ensuring quality assurance and health & safety on site.
- Weekly reporting and report to the Construction Director.
- Keep the project running to programme and within budget.
- Be the point of contact for the client.
Requirements for the Project Manager:
- The ideal candidate must have two stage tender experience and be confident in leading a job as a number one from conception to handover.
- A background in cut & carve commercial projects and high-end internal finishing is desirable.
- Degree educated in Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering is desirable.
- A desire to prove one's ability and progress within the business.
