An excellent opportunity for an experienced health and safety manager to join a family run fit out specialist delivering high quality projects across the commercial, education, and leisure sectors throughout the northwest.
This is a handsâon role within a closeâknit team that takes real pride in their work, reputation, and people.
The role
As health and safety manager, you'll take ownership of all aspects of health, safety, and compliance across live fit out and refurbishment projects. You'll work closely with site teams, contracts managers, and senior leadership to maintain the company's excellent safety record, ensuring all projects meet current legislation and bestâpractice standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee H&S across multiple fitâout and refurbishment projects
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits
- Produce risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Work closely with project teams to drive a positive safety culture
- Investigate and report on incidents, implementing corrective actions
- Keep up to date with legislation and ensure company compliance
About you
- Proven experience in health and safety management within the fitâout or construction industry
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a practical, handsâon approach
- Ability to influence and engage teams across multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the northwest
