Managing Quantity Surveyor required for Tier 1 Main contractor in the Northampton area.

About the role of Managing Quantity Surveyor:

Working on a major residential project managing a £100m infrastructure package with a Quantity Surveyor reporting into you. This project is currently on site with a further 6 years remaining. The infrastructure works is a major part of the project so an experienced candidate is required to manage the earthworks, s278 works and roadworks. You will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

Requirements for Managing Quantity Surveyor:

  • The company are looking for a candidate who has experience managing major infrastructure packages, you can be from a Developer, Main contractor or Civils contractor background.
  • You will be responsible for the overall success of the £100m package and supporting the QS where necessary.
  • Degree in a construction related subject.
  • Experience with infrastructure works.
  • Ideally experience on some residential projects.
  • Experience leading major packages.

The company are a 5 star house builder with a strong presence in the market, with 25+ offices across the UK. They offer clear progression paths with internal development and training on offer. You will be required to work between office and site, both close to the Northampton and Milton Keynes areas.
