Role Based 5 days a week in London. You will be going through the Level 4/5 CIPS Qualification. The successful candidate will be part of the UK’s leading architectural glass specialist. In the fast-track industry of commercial building, we pride ourselves in offering quality service and innovative design that allows our clients to create flexible workspaces.

Specific Duties:

  • Reviewing purchasing requirements as per project specification
  • Sourcing, negotiating and purchasing of materials and plant
  • Coordinating deliveries for site, liaising with suppliers and site staff
  • Reviewing invoices for plant and approve to the finance department for payment in accordance with terms
  • Communicating any problem invoices with suppliers
  • Assisting the commercial team with administrative duties by keeping databases and reports up to date
  • Check and obtain all “BID” information such as quotes, and rates used in the tender using OSCA files as per the BMS protocols for locations
  • With the QS review the buying gains sheet and understand the requirements of the procurement required for the project and work within the budgets set for each element
  • Prepare information to assist the QS with applications for the project as required to enable claims for materials on site
  • Understand all project contractual requirements and ensure these are stepped down to suppliers and sub-contractors as required
  • Ensure that proactive measures are implemented to address and mitigate project risks in all phases of the project with regards to delivery of materials
