We are partnered with a leading main contractor to appoint an experienced Divisional Director to join the senior leadership team and play a key role in the strategic direction and continued growth of the business across London.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established construction professional with a strong Tier 1 background and a proven track record across commercial office new-build and complex redevelopment projects , typically valued at Β£50m+ .
Working as part of the senior leadership team , you will have responsibility for the strategic and operational performance of the division, overseeing projects from tender and PCSA through to delivery , while driving client relationships, business development, project performance and the continued development of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a key member of the senior leadership team , contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the business.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of major commercial office projects .
- Oversee projects from tender and PCSA through to construction, completion and handover .
- Lead, develop and mentor senior project teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, developers, consultants and stakeholders.
- Drive business development, client engagement and repeat business .
- Provide senior oversight of project performance across programme, commercial, quality, health & safety and delivery.
- Provide strategic input into tenders and pre-construction opportunities, including procurement, buildability, risk and delivery strategy.
- Support the commercial and operational performance of the division.
We are looking for an experienced Divisional Director / Operations Director / Senior Project Director with a strong Tier 1 main contractor background and significant experience within the London commercial construction market.
You will ideally have:
- Strong redevelopment and refurbishment experience.
- A track record delivering projects valued at Β£50m+ .
- Experience operating as part of a senior leadership team .
- Full lifecycle experience from tender / PCSA through to delivery .
- Strong pre-construction, procurement and buildability knowledge.
- Proven experience leading and developing large multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
- An established network across clients, developers, consultants and professional teams.
- A strong track record of client relationship management, business development and repeat business .
- The commercial and strategic capability to influence at board and divisional level .
