We are working with a leading main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects who are looking to hire an Assistant Building Services Manager on a flagship commercial office development in Central London. This is a permanent opportunity offering clear progression, genuine responsibility and the chance to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured work across the commercial sector.
The successful candidate will be supporting one of the Senior Managers on a Commercial Office in Central London.
Responsibilities for Assistant Building Services Manager:- Support the Senior Technical Services Manager with the coordination and delivery of mechanical, electrical and public health services from pre-construction through to completion
- Assist with reviewing MEP design information and identifying coordination, buildability and value engineering opportunities
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and specialist suppliers to support programme delivery
- Monitor the quality of MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards
- Support technical reviews, RFIs and design development throughout the construction process
- Assist with planning, sequencing and monitoring the progress of building services installations
- Coordinate interfaces between MEP trades and the wider construction team
- Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities
