My client is an established business who operate within the Social Housing sector and are looking for a Roofer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is working on re-roofing and the installation of solar panels to tenanted social housing properties across the North Yorkshire region. With an office base in Northallerton, other sites will be in Thirsk, York, Middlesborough etc.
This is an opportunity to work with a well established Main Contractor with a great reputation, who are working on a long term framework with the Local Authority.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Undertake roofing works and the installation of solar panels
- Communicate effectively with residents and line manager
- Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
- Remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of skill area
- Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required
Experience required:
- Previous experience working as a Roofer on refurbishment projects and have the skills to deliver small projects and repair work
- Ideally you will have experience within the housing maintenance sector, but this is not a must
This is a full time, permanent role with a salary of £45k + package.
