What you'll be doing:
- Evaluate and accurately estimate costings on land acquisition, focusing on legal fees, site preparation, environmental factors, land topography and any conditions that might affect the works.
- Regularly visit sites to ensure pricing is up to standard and evaluate the quality of land.
- Using your COINS experience, you'll prepare detailed cost estimation reports for the Commercial team to present and aid in decision making.
- Understand the current market and cross reference with previous experience to ensure you can deliver the best results whilst maintaining under budget and within timeframes.
What you'll need:
- Relevant qualification and/or excellent experience in cost estimating, commercial or groundworks for the new build housing industry.
- Knowledge of using COINS is an added bonus.
- UK Driving Licence.
- Good financial/commercial and computer estimating knowledge.
