We are currently hiring for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading specialist contractor based in Hampshire. Working on a range of diverse high spec projects, across the South‑coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplinary contractor with over 60 years\’ experience.
About the role of Health & Safety Advisor
As the role of Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of projects, form Health care, residential, education, MOD & industrial. Projects typically valuing between £500K – £15M across Hampshire, Dorset & Surrey.
Responsibilities for Health & Safety Advisor
- Carry out site visits and inspections across sites offering training, guidance, and improvement strategies.
- Regularly promote best practice and legislation when it comes to Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability, Quality & Wellbeing.
- Drive the improvement and management of safety systems and recording data across sites and throughout the wider business.
- Represent the business proactively form a Health & Safety standpoint, promoting engagement when it comes to Health & Safety.
Requirements for Health & Safety Advisor
- Previous experience working amongst a similar value schemes.
- Relevant NEBOSH qualification either general or construction
- IOSH Membership is desirable but not essential.
