An established and highly respected residential developer in Guildford is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Buyer to join their commercial team. This is a key role for a commercially astute buyer who can take ownership of procurement across multiple residential developments, working closely with Commercial, Construction and Technical teams to ensure best value, programme certainty and supply chain performance.
The Role
- Lead the procurement of materials and subcontract packages across residential schemes
- Negotiate pricing, terms and long-term agreements with key suppliers
- Manage and develop strong relationships within the supply chain
- Ensure procurement aligns with project programmes and commercial budgets
- Support junior buyers and contribute to continuous improvement within the commercial team
