Are you an experienced Planning Manager with a proven track record delivering complex healthcare and major infrastructure schemes? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international Tier 1 contractor within their specialist Major Projects division, supporting the delivery of large-scale healthcare developments as part of a long-term government-backed framework.
The Role
As Senior Planner, you will take ownership of project programmes across the full lifecycle, from pre-construction through delivery and handover. Working closely with operational, commercial, and pre-construction teams, you will play a key role in ensuring schemes are strategically planned, risk-managed, and successfully delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, managing, and maintaining integrated project programmes from tender through completion.
- Leading planning strategy across bids and framework submissions.
- Monitoring progress, identifying risks, critical path impacts, and opportunities for programme improvement.
- Supporting project and site teams with planning analysis, reporting, and programme updates.
- Driving best-practice planning standards across complex healthcare projects.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Planning Manager within a Tier 1 or established Tier 2 contractor.
- Experience delivering healthcare, public sector, or technically complex infrastructure schemes.
- Strong working knowledge of government or framework-based delivery models.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and programme leadership skills.
