Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Ganger to lead and work alongside a gang on civil engineering and groundworks projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a gang of groundworkers on site
- Carry out all aspects of groundworks including drainage, ducting, foundations, kerbing, concreting, and excavation
- Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, RAMS, and programme
- Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times
- Coordinate with site management and other trades
- Ensure tools, materials, and plant are used correctly and safely
- Carry out hands-on groundworks as required
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Ganger or Senior Groundworker
- EUSR Part 1 & Part 2 (required)
- Valid CSCS card
- Fit for Work Medical
- Strong knowledge of groundworks and utilities environments
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively on site
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
