Fawkes and Reece are assisting a leading Fit Out contractor with their search for an Estimating Manager/Director. In this role, you will leverage your skills, experience, and knowledge to produce competitive tenders, working within a collaborative team environment to secure profitable projects £10m.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate and competitive net estimates for fit-out projects, attending settlements and presentations to ensure the estimates align with client expectations.
- Developing subcontract and material packages, and ensuring all necessary information is abstracted efficiently.
- Analysing and vetting subcontractor tender returns to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget.
- Pricing elements from 'first principles' based on labour, plant, and material costs.
- Quantifying and cost planning build costs from limited information to support initial development appraisals and project feasibility.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of project scope, contractual requirements, and site-specific conditions.
- Identifying opportunities to maximize project value and optimize costs throughout the lifecycle of the project.
