We are looking for experienced Design & Technical Managers who will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Technical Department across our residential developments, from the early design stages through to construction and completion.
The role would broadly involve:
- Managing and coordinating architectural, structural and M&E design information.
- Liaising with external consultants, contractors and site teams.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications for compliance with Building Regulations, warranty requirements and buildability.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues during design development and construction.
- Managing design programmes, consultant deliverables and technical approvals.
- Supporting planning conditions, statutory approvals and the general day-to-day within the Technical Department.
Ideally, we'd like someone with residential developer or consultancy experience/background who understands the technical aspects of delivering housing schemes. That said, finding someone with the right attitude, initiative and willingness to get involved is equally important. We are open to candidates with different levels of experience and backgrounds, whilst we are also happy to consider someone with less experience who we can develop, as well as someone capable of taking on more responsibility from day one.
