The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major project team working on a £350m new build multi-functional project near Basingstoke, Hampshire. The project is well underway with 4 main buildings under construction and focus turning to the internal fit out - these buildings will provide extensive teaching space, offices, laboratories and research space, plus a large engineering facility.
Reporting to a Senior Construction Manager and Project Manager for your building, you will be responsible for managing all construction activities within your assigned areas.
Responsibilities- Management of trade sub-contractors
- Coordination of all site based activities; Holding Daily Activity Briefings
- Health & Safety - review and agreement of RAMS; ensuring adherence to agreed high standards of safe working practices at all time
- Ensure progress of construction against programme; Resolving any issues that arise that could impact this and ensure supply chain have everything in place
- Quality Assurance - ensure construction of work to agreed and specified standards; Recording evidence of completed works at every stage using Fieldview
- Producing short-term look ahead programmes; Coordination with other managers; Internal reporting on progress.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience / trade background
- Successful Tier 1 main contracting background
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
