Estimator We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Estimator to join a reputable main contractor based in Southampton. The business operates out of several regional offices across the UK and has a strong presence on the South Coast undertaking new build and refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare and social housing valuing typically up to £15mil. With lots of inbound opportunity, they are now looking to expand the pre-construction team with an additional Estimator. About the role of Estimator: As Estimator, you will be working within the pre-construction team pricing a diverse range of projects across the south coast. You will be reporting into a Senior Estimator. Key Responsibilities as Estimator: Review tender documents and ascertain suitability for the project Work from first principles Manage the whole tender process Work collaboratively with the bid team to ensure tenders are presentable Key requirements for this Estimator position: MUST have experience working as Estimator within a main contractor Proven track record of successfully securing tenders valuing up to £10mil. Experience with single and two stage tenders Live within a commutable distance to Southampton and be happy to commute to office / site on a regular basis Full right to work in the UK What\’s on offer in return: Salary: Up to £65k Car Allowance / Company Car Healthy holiday allowance Additional flexi benefits Business in a strong financial position, with plenty of inbound opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with ambitious growth plans and room for progression within the role.
