Overview: Building Services Manager - South Wales - c£425-475 a day CIS + living allowance and expenses - tier 1 Main Contractor - leisure project - 2 year+ contract.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver MEP services on a leisure and entertainment project in Cardiff.
- Coordinate and manage M&E installations on site, working as part of a team and reporting to a Lead MEP Manager.
- Coordinate installation of Mechanical and Electrical services and manage on-site M&E team monitoring progress of subcontractors.
- Produce and implement commissioning, testing and inspection procedures and documentation for handover.
- Support understanding of M&E design coordination and contribute to design process where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Minimum HND level in a relevant field with at least 5 years’ experience in the MEP contracting arena or as a Building Services Manager within a main contracting environment.
- Mechanical background is preferred; a good understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical services is advantageous.
- Experience on entertainment venue projects is advantageous.
- Experience coordinating M&E design coordination is beneficial.
