The company: A well established regional contractor who specialises in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure.
The role: As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:
- Obtain copies of the production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
- Checking loads are secure.
- Stacking empty pallets.
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
About you: Ideally you will have previous working experience in a Telehandler position. You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be wary of others who are working alongside you. You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
To be successful in your application for this role you will have to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a Telehandler.
- Having a CPCS or NPORS/CSCS certification.
- Strong work ethic in a team.
- Approachable and happy to act as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
