Overview
As Project Manager, you will lead delivery of a portfolio of rail and civil engineering schemes in the Bristol area, including the Metro West Programme.
You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality across sites.
You’ll build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and authorities while driving risk, change and reporting.

Responsibilities
- Manage the successful delivery of bridge, highways and civil engineering projects
- Lead project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all projects are delivered safely and in line with client, company and industry standards
- Take ownership of project programmes, budgets, resource planning and commercial performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and local authorities
- Manage risks, opportunities, change control and project reporting
- Oversee Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance across all sites
- Coordinate engineering, planning, commercial and site delivery teams to achieve project objectives
- Key requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within rail, civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
- Strong background delivering bridges, highways, structures or rail civils packages
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and project teams simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and programme delivery
- Knowledge of NEC contracts
- SMSTS and CSCS required
- Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline desirable
