A leading tier 2 contractor based in the South West is presently seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned leading business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. This Environmental Advisor will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting into the Director of HSQE. This Environmental Advisor will be joining a longstanding HSQE team and be based out of their Head Office in Bristol. Typically, my client specialises in a range of commercial builds. Working across various frameworks for leading clients, projects traditionally range from £50M - £150M. Primarily operating from Gloucester downwards, with a lot of pipeline and projects based across the South and the South West.
Responsibilities for Environmental Advisor:
- Ensure the business complies with Environmental legislation and standards
- Working closely to develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders surrounding environmental understanding and best practice
- Provide experience and training across the business and sites
Requirements for Environmental Advisor:
- Previous experience within the construction industry and a similar role is fundamental
- Relevant degree or qualification within either construction, Ecology, Environmental or NEBOSH
- Preferably a member of IEMA
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO14001, ISO50001 OR ISO20400
